Trumpet, Drums, Theory, Compostion and Music Appreciation
Graduate of U. C . Berkeley
James has been playing trumpet for 20 years. He recently graduate from University of Califonia Berkeley as an honor student with a Bachelors of Arts in music. While at berkeley, he founded the Organization of Undergraute Composer at Berkeley; which produces bi-annual concerts of original classical works by undergraute students. He was the recipent of the James King music schorlship for outstanding service to the students of the music department and for his high academic achievements. James also attended Crafton Hills College, where he graduate with an assoiciates degree in music. James was one of ten student, in his class, to graduate with a 4.0 gpa. James was the reciepent of seven scholarship from Crafton including the Ellerman music schorlship and the prestigious President's award, for high academic achievement and service to the school. He was the president of Alpha gamma Sigma honor society and the V.P. of Academic affairs on the student senate While at Crafton hills college. James plays professional with various ensemble throught the Inland empire. He plans on returning to school to complete a master and doctorate in music compostion, within the next couple of years and becoming a music theory and composition professor.
