Yinchi Chang

Yinchi Chang has been an oboe instructor in the greater Los Angeles area since her move from New Zealand in 2002. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. where her degree concentrates on music performance. While attending UCLA, Yinchi completed her California teaching credential as a single subject teacher in music. She was also a recipient of the Atwater Kent music scholarship for student with outstanding merit while attending UCLA. Since her graduation, Yinchi is now currently a Masters of Music student at the University of Redlands and plays second oboe with the Redlands Symphony Orchestra during their concert season. She plans on completing her master and doctoral degree in order to pursue her goal in collegiate teaching. Yinchi is an advocate for the arts: she is passionate about teaching music to the ones passionate about learning the art of music.
